2020 Year Review

2020 YEAR REVIEW

As 2020 comes to an end, we have a lot to reflect on and be thankful for as we head into the New Year.

Client & Success Stories:

After the shut down ended, our business picked back up as the real estate market in Connecticut took off from individuals and families leaving New York City and moving into our area. Many home sellers we worked with received multiple offers on their property after our staging, and some after only 1 day on the market! Overall, our staged properties spent 73% less time on the market than the average until an accepted offer.

This year we enjoyed working with real estate investors, picking the finishes and working on the interior merchandizing of their properties for a higher return on their investments.

We also worked with a lot of design clients, making their newly purchased properties their homes.

Awards & Events:

This year we attended a few amazing virtual events including the 2020 Home Staging & Redesign Association Summit. We had so much fun attending over Zoom but we are looking forward to hopefully attending next year’s Summit and all of the other trade shows and events in-person!

Recently we were able to host our very first virtual CE Class for Realtors and it was a big success. Stay tuned for more classes in 2021.

Our Creative Director and CEO Birgit Anich and the BA Staging & Interiors team were honored to receive the following awards this year:

  • Top 100 Top Influential People in Real Estate Staging Industry – 2020 – RESA
  • Best of Home Staging Trifecta: Staging Excellence, Client Care Excellence, Industry Leadership – 2020 – IAHSP
  • Best Luxury Staging Service of the Year – 2020 – HSRA
  • Top 10 Professional Home Stager of the Year – 2020 – HSRA
  • Achievement Award 250+ CE Credits Earned – 2020 – HSRA
  • Growth Development Program Completion Award – 2020 – HSRA
  • Top 200 Influencer in the Home Design Industry – 2020 – Fixr.com

We thank everyone for their continued support. It is incredible to be a part of this fabulous industry and to continue to be recognized.

Company Updates:

One of the many changes and updates for BA Staging & Interiors this year has been the introduction of BA Studio TV- our weekly web show! Every Wednesday we release new and original videos that focus on topics ranging from home staging, real estate and lifestyle. We are so thankful to have had some very special guests join us on the show, both in-person and over Zoom. If you have not seen our videos yet, head over to BA Studio TV on YouTube to watch our latest episodes and please subscribe to our channel! We would love to hear any suggestions for future episode topics, and we look forward to releasing more content in 2021.

Our team is growing as we head into the New Year. We are currently looking to hire a Staging/ Design Assistant. Please visit our Career Opportunities page to learn more about this position and find out how to apply.

We wish you a year filled with Happiness, Health & Success.

With Gratitude,
