NOW HIRING: STAGING OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

BA Staging & Interiors is currently seeking a Staging Operations Assistant for immediate hire.
This is a part-time, temporary position supporting both warehouse operations and on-site staging installations. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and recognizes what needs to be done to keep operations running smoothly. Please note this is a physically demanding position.

📋 Role Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Assistant
    – Unpacking and returning inventory to proper locations
    – General warehouse and inventory cleaning and maintenance (organizing, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
    – Packing inventory for upcoming jobs
    – Organizing packing and transport material
    – Opening new inventory packages and assembly
    – Cataloging and maintaining online inventory system
    – Other assistance as needed
  • Job Site Assistant
    – Sorting, unpacking and packing inventory
    – Consistent organization of packing material throughout job duration
    – Job site cleaning
    – Steaming bed linens and towels
    – Hanging artwork and wall décor
    – Other assistance as needed

🗝️ Candidate Requirements:

– Fluent in English
– Fluent or conversational in Spanish is a plus
– Capable of physically demanding work
– Work on feet for 8+ hours
– Able to lift at least 35 pounds repeatedly
– Handy with basic tools
– Ability to drive to job locations in personal car with valid driver’s license (mileage is reimbursable as per company policy)
– Larger vehicle to transport inventory and materials when needed is a plus (SUV, truck, van)
– Ability and confidence to drive a large truck (Uhaul) is a plus
– Flexible availability
– Pleasant, professional demeanor
– Great attention to detail
– Respect and keep confidentiality on business matters
– Work authorization in US

💼 Job Type:

  • Part-time position, hours dependent on project schedule
  • Hire will start as a temp with the potential for a permanent position
  • Normal work hours are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. Occasional hours outside of this will be needed
  • In-person at our warehouse in Bridgeport, CT and on job sites (located within Fairfield County, New Haven County, Lower Litchfield County, Westchester County, NY and Putnam County, NY – occasional further travel may be required)
