Asian treasures

I always have been fascinated by Asian furniture, but my travels to Thailand, Hong Kong and Macau have even more sparked my desire to incorporate Asian or Asian inspired furniture in my designs. Just a couple of days ago I stopped to visit an antique store in Westport, when I saw an arrow pointing to the back of the building saying “Asian furniture on sale”. Needless to say, I did not blink with an eye, passed the antique store I originally wanted to go to and my pace speeded up into the direction of the back of the building. I entered the store and my eyes lit up like for a little kid when it opens it’s toy box. The store was very nicely organized filled with Chinese antiques. All the time in the store, I whished I had a client right now who wants to me to do a room make over with Chinese influenced eclectic design, where I can incorporate a few of these marvelous furniture and accessories.

If you are in Fairfield county, CT and like Chinese furniture, check out this store – Asian Imperial Furniture on Post Road in Westport.
