Birgit Anich is a master stager! During our initial meeting, she went through every room of our house, picking out the perfect color for each. Based on the photographs and measurements she took as she walked around, she came back two weeks later with a van full of furniture, artwork and knickknacks. When my husband and I saw the staging for the first time, we were awe-struck by how beautiful everything looked. We were also amazed at how large and inviting our house suddenly seemed. In one of our bedrooms, for instance, Birgit had placed the bed against a different wall than we had. The room now seemed twice as large. Likewise, in our kitchen she replaced our wood, rectangular table with a round, glass one. That room, too, suddenly felt much more spacious. Even the shape of the mirror she chose to go over our fireplace made us wonder why we hadn’t thought to do something similar. Making the decision to hire a stager isn’t an easy one for many people. For us, it was a leap of faith. Painting walls and renting furniture is expensive. But as soon as we saw the results, we knew we had made the right choice. As a matter of fact, we love Birgit’s work so much, we’re hoping to hire her to help us pull together our new place.
